Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide a wide range of quality individualized care services.  All services are provided with respect and sensitivity to race, culture and the socio-economic issues and background of each resident.

Vision

​

Our vision is to be the first choice in placement for at risk boys ages of 9 to 13 with mental health/behavioral challenges. We achieve this through our commitment to structure, creativity, growth and daily supervision from dedicated, professional team members, all of whom have experience working with and raising children of their own.

 

Philosophy

We value the rights each placement has to a quality life in this great country of ours. 

 

We are committed to providing a quality caring home life for our boys.

 

We will strive to have a working cooperative relationship with the network of service providers working with our boys

Staffing

Residents are supervised 24 hours a day. The staffing ratio is 1-5. Staffing ratio is also adjusted for specific activities, including trips away from the group home and on property activities. In these situations, additional staff will be on duty.

Theresa A. White, Administrator

 

Ms. White was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and raised in the Bay Area of California.  She earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of California at Davis.  Her work experience includes 15 Years as a Software Engineer with IBM and currently is a Software Engineer for Rocket Software.  She has more than 30 years of experience tutoring children in various subjects to include Math, Physics, Science and Economics.  Ms. White is the mother of one child, a son who earned a degree in Accounting.

Clarence Price

 

Mr. Clarence Price is a lifelong resident of Toledo. He was educated in Toledo Public Schools and has worked for Toledo Public Schools (TPS) for the past thirty years as a Campus Security Officer (CSO). Clarence coached Scott High School's varsity football team for ten years. He also refereed high school basketball for ten years. Coach Price is a widower, who raised four children after the death of his wife, Melva L. Poston Price. Three of Clarence's children are college graduates. His two sons, whom he coached at Toledo Scott High, were All-City Football Players, one went on to be an All-American in track. He also coached his daughter who competed on the high school level. For twenty-five years Clarence or Coach Price as he is known by the thousands of students, football players, and parents whose lives he has touched coached track, football and basketball in Toledo's central city.
